A Great learning experience:GIDS 2010!

yes, so it was me, in IISC, on a rosy cool day, with my laptop, heading towards GIDS, the Great Indian Developer Summit’ 2010.
last year, when one of my friends attended GIDS’09, I commented on his blog, wishing to attend next time, and yes, this time I made it. First day of GIDS, with sessions on .net, full of content with latest technology, developers from across the country, (who were there to quentch their thirst of knowledge, and exposure to new tech) and presence of some most knowledgeable technology evengelists!, all under one roof. The opening session by Stephen Forte was enough to show a new face of Business Intelligence. I sometimes think, how innovatively the speakers have named the sessions! ‘Heaven through clouds’, ‘Wallet in cloud’ were really some sessions, whose name itself was enough to generate curiosity in the audience. Session on ‘MVVM pattern in WPF’ was really a good learning experience, on the other hand, session by ‘Bejoy Singhal’ on WWF made me tempted to use WWF for all my upcoming projects,(though the session enabled me to choose a right project, which WWF is suitable for :) ). The session by Venkat Subramanian was really ultimate, where he talked about ‘testing with dependencies’, the session was full of interaction and environment was so light, that it seemed to be fun, while learning the things his way.
Wish to attend these kind of sessions in near future as well..
